FAQ

WHERE SHOULD I STAY IN FORT WORTH?

We’ve reserved a room block at the beautiful new Crescent Hotel in Fort Worth’s Cultural District—just a short ride from all the weekend fun! Rooms are limited, so we recommend booking early to secure your spot.

WHAT IS THE WELCOME PARTY ATTIRE?

Cowboy Cocktail - For Cowboys - coat no tie - Top: button-down shirt - Jacket: A tailored blazer or sport coat - Bottoms: dress slacks or pants (skip the shorts, partner) - Footwear: Cowboy boots or loafers (cleaned and polished!) - Accessories: Optional bolo tie, a nice belt (the more exotic the better), and a cowboy hat if you have one. For Cowgirls - Dress: Elevated cocktail dress—cowgirl glam! - Footwear: Boots or heels! Accessories: Statement jewelry or a hat if you’re feelin’ it. Everything is bigger in Texas, so go big, or go home!

WHAT IS THE WEDDING ATTIRE?

Dress to Impress the animals 🦒 It’s black tie, but don’t sweat it—literally! The reception is outdoors, so keep the weather in mind. We’re saying “I do” and then partying at the zoo, so feel free to have a little fun with your look (but maybe leave the leopard print to the actual leopards 🐆).

HOW DO I GET TO THE WELCOME PARTY FRIDAY?

Buses will be leaving from the Crescent hotel starting at 8:30 and will be looping back toward the end of the evening. Driving is not recommended as parking is $25 and is limited in the Stockyards. Uber or Lyft is your best bet outside the scheduled busses

HOW DO I GET TO THE CEREMONY ON SATURDAY?

Buses leave from the Crescent Hotel and head to the ceremony starting at 4:30 and ending at 5:00. Buses will transfer guests from the ceremony to the zoo for the reception. There is limited parking so please uber if not taking the bus.

WHAT HAPPENS IF I MISS THE BUS?

Please consider taking an uber or lyft as there is limited parking

WHAT AIRPORT SHOULD I FLY INTO?

The closest airport to Fort Worth is DFW (Dallas/Fort Worth International). If you're flying into Dallas Love Field (DAL), no worries—it’s just a bit farther and still an easy drive to the party!

DO YOU RECOMMEND GETTING A RENTAL CAR FOR THE WEEKEND?

It’s up to you! If you’re planning to explore more of the DFW metroplex, you may want to look into renting a car. Fort Worth is very Uber- and Lyft-friendly, and most wedding weekend events will be nearby and easy to get to via the transportation provided. If you do rent a car, the traffic from both airports (DAL and DFW) to Forth Worth can be heavy when traveling down state highway 121. We strongly suggest taking the toll road in your car as this will significantly cut down on travel time. It is roughly a 45 minute drive from DFW to the Crescent and 50 minute drive from DAL. Reminder - be advised that parking at the chapel is limited.
