Ideal Day in the Stockyards

Start your morning with a coffee (and maybe a pastry) from the Circle Bar at the Crescent, then head to the iconic Fort Worth Stockyards for a day of Western fun.

First stop: The Best Hat Store, where you can create your very own custom cowboy hat—shaped, styled, and tailored just for you. From there, wander through classic Western shops like Leddy’s, Lucchese, and Tecovas for boots, belts, and all the Texas attire your heart desires.

At 11:30 AM, catch the daily cattle drive as real drovers walk a herd of longhorns down historic Exchange Avenue—truly a Fort Worth tradition.

When it’s time for lunch, refuel at one of our favorite local spots:

Joe T. Garcia’s – a Fort Worth legend with margaritas and a lush patio garden

Love Shack – for casual burgers, cold drinks, and live music

Paloma Suerte – modern Tex-Mex with a fun, festive vibe
